When Kirusha & Ryan first walked through our doors, admittedly a little nervous and timid, we instantly knew that their love was so strong that we wanted to help create the wedding day of their dreams!
We are so fortunate to be able to incorporate couple’s cultural wedding traditions into their special days! We have the pleasure of leaning new things, and we also get to take part in wedding traditions that broaden our horizons. Kirusha & Ryan, one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth couples we have ever met, incorporated many Indian elements to their wedding day, such as a traditional Hindu ceremony in the morning at St. Stefan Serbian Community Centre, complete with beautiful wedding sarees, and a huge Indian sweets table at their reception!
Their Western wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Canadian Museum of History in the Grand Hall. Appropriately named, this large and open concept room with floor to ceiling windows, and large historical pieces, artworks and artifacts was a stunning place to host all 120 of Kirusha & Ryan’s closest friends and family.
Lynne Langille from Exceptional Ceremonies spoke elegantly to unite the happy couple as they stood at the head altar, surrounded by stunning florals and in front of the Haida sculpture. With beautiful peach, white and pink florals from Flower’s Talk Tivoli, they added the perfect attention-grabbing detail as table centerpieces. The gold décor details in and around the table were provided by ILUPH, which included beautiful detailed charger plates and perfect gold chairs. Each guest was thanked with a sweet, small jar of Canadian maple syrup for their attendance. The gorgeous 3-tiered white and gold cake, which anchored all the beautiful wedding details together, was created by Anetha Beninato. Guests danced into the wee hours of the morning with the incredibly DJ talent of DJ RayRay from Oxygen Entertainment.
We are so honoured to be apart of Kirusha & Ryan’s special day and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
